Batiuk Named to Weekly Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers senior Katie Batiuk (Jackson, N.J.) was selected to the womenslacrosse.com weekly honor roll, it was announced.
Batiuk registered nine points in a 2-0 week for the Scarlet Knights. In an 11-5 win over Saint Joseph's on April 3, she had three goals and an assist. The midfielder scored a season-best five goals in an 11-10 conference triumph over Connecticut on April 7. It marked the second straight season that Batiuk tallied five goals in a game versus the Huskies.
For the season, Batiuk leads the team in goals (36) and points (40). The Scarlet Knights are 11-2 overall and 2-1 in BIG EAST Conference play. They are currently on a five-game win streak after defeating Manhattan College, 18-3, on April 10.
Rutgers will conclude the regular season with a three-game road trip, taking on Syracuse (April 13), Notre Dame (April 21) and Northwestern (April 23).
