PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers goalie Erika Page (Moorestown, N.J.) was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. Teammate Katie Batiuk (Jackson, N.J.) was named the womenslax.com Player of the Week and also earned a place on the BIG EAST's weekly honor roll after No. 17 Rutgers (12-3, 3-2) defeated No. 6/8 Notre Dame, 8-7, on April 21. Batiuk now leads the team in both goals (40) and shots (104), including four game-winning goals. Earlier this spring, the senior was named to the Tewaarton Trophy Watch list. The award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, honoring the top female and male varsity collegiate lacrosse player in the United States.
