Batiuk Plays in North-South All-Star Game

DOWINGTON, Pa. - Senior Katie Batiuk (Jackson, N.J.) participated in the Division I Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) North-South game in Downington, Pa. The game was held as part of the IWLCA Champions' Cup at the
Batiuk, a third team All-American selection, scored the North's third tally of the game. The North dropped the contest, 18-8. Batiuk was one of six North players to score a goal in the game.
In addition to her All-American status, Batiuk is a four-time All-Region honoree. The midfielder closed her senior season with a team-best 42 goals and 48 points and also was named to the all-BIG EAST team for the fourth consecutive spring. Batiuk concluded her illustrious RU career second all-time in goals (160) and points (216).
