Cantwell Receives Weekly BIG EAST Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday. The award marks the third time this season Cantwell has been named to the Honor Roll, and the fourth time in her career.
Cantwell registered seven goals and one assist as the team went 1-1 during the week. The sophomore tallied five goals and one assist in RU's 14-9 win over Monmouth on April 9, before scoring two goals against No. 5 Syracuse. Cantwell has already registered career-highs in goals (30) and assists (13), and leads the team with 43 points.
The Scarlet Knights (7-7, 2-2 in BIG EAST) next play on Wednesday, April 16, when they face non-conference foe Temple at Yurcak Field at 7:00 p.m.
