Brittany Bybel Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (October 19, 2009) – Rutgers senior Brittany Bybel (Millville, N.J.) was selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, it was announced on Monday afternoon. The forward earned the league accolade for the first time in her career.

Bybel tallied a goal and added two assists in a 5-2 win over Rider on Saturday, Oct. 17.  In addition, she posted four shots versus the Broncs- all on goal. Bybel co-leads the team in points (19) and is second in goals (8). She paces the team in total shots.

Rutgers is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 24, hosting Connecticut at 1:00 p.m. Bybel and her fellow senior classmates will be honored prior to the contest.
