Saturday's Rutgers Lacrosse Games Rescheduled for Sunday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 25, 2010) – Both the Rutgers women’s and men’s lacrosse games originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27 have been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 28 due to projected inclement weather, the school announced Thursday.

The two contests will take place on the RU Turf Field and will remain at their originally scheduled times with the women’s squad battling No. 20 Cornell at noon and the men’s squad squaring off with No. 19 UMBC at 3 p.m.

Both squads opened the season with dominating victories. The RU men knocked off Wagner on the road last Sunday by a 24-4 score and the RU women defeated Temple at home by a 13-3 mark on Wednesday.
