Men's Lacrosse Scrimmages Rescheduled for Friday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 3, 2010) – The Rutgers men’s lacrosse team’s scrimmages originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6 on Rutgers’ F-3 turf field have been reschedule for Friday, Feb. 5 due to projected inclement weather, head coach Jim Stagnitta announced Wednesday.
RU will take on Hartford at 3:15. Hartford and Lafayette will square off at 4:45. Rutgers will wrap up Friday’s competition by facing Lafayette at 5:45 p.m.
Rutgers will host its final scrimmage against Hofstra on Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. on Rutgers’ F-3 turf field. The Pride is listed at No. 10 in both the USILA Coaches and Nike/Inside Lacrosse Preseason Poll.
Rutgers opens the regular season in Staten Island, N.Y. where it battles Wagner on Feb. 21. at 1 p.m.
