
Joe Stottler Added to 2011 Men's Lacrosse Recruiting Class

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 2, 2010) – Joe Stottler (Wantagh, N.Y.) will be the 14th member of the 2011 Rutgers men’s lacrosse recruiting class head coach James Stagnitta announced today.
Stottler, a 5’11 midfielder, arrives “On the Banks” after a successful high school career at Wantagh High School in New York. Stottler, a three year starter and senior captain, recorded 120 career points on 62 goals and 58 assists for the Warriors. For his achievements, Stottler was named All-Conference and was on the US Lacrosse All-American watch list.
In addition to his successes in lacrosse, Stottler also captained his school’s football team and was a Golden Eleven Nominee his senior year.
Rutgers finished the 2010 season with a 6-8 record and placed fifth in the final BIG EAST standings with a 2-4 conference mark.
