Scott Klimchak Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (February 21, 2011) – Rutgers men’s lacrosse redshirt freshman Scott Klimchak (Clark, N.J.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced this afternoon.
Klimchak takes home his first career BIG EAST honor after an impressive 10 point weekend in a pair of RU victories over Wagner and Manhattan.
In the game against Wagner, Klimchak tallied seven points on four goals and three assists in the Scarlet Knights’ 17-5 victory.
Klimchak followed up his strong performance against the Seahawks with another impressive outing against Manhattan. Against the Jaspers, Klimchak tallied a goal and two assists as Rutgers cruised to an 11-3 victory.
Klimchak and the rest of the Scarlet Knights return to action this weekend as they head to Baltimore, Md. for a 1 p.m. Saturday matchup with UMBC.
