
No. 19 Rutgers Men's Lacrosse Travels to Penn State

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 10, 2011) – Coming offan 11-1 victory at Saint Joseph’s, the No. 19 Rutgers men’s lacrosse team will look to continue its winning ways as it travels to State College, Pa. for a 3 p.m. Saturday matchup with Penn State.
The Scarlet Knights (4-0), who cracked the top-20 for the first time this season, have been led offensively by sophomore Duncan Clancy (Princeton, N.J.) who has a team leading 17 points on four goals and 13 assists. Joe Donnelly (Newton Square, Pa.) has led RU in the cage with a perfect 4-0 record and a 3.47 goals against average.
Penn State, coached by Jeff Tambroni in his first season with the program, is coming off a 17-5 loss at No. 20 Villanova on Tuesday night. For the season, the Nittany Lions (1-3) have been led on offense by Shane Sturgis who has nine points on four goals and five assists.
RU and Penn State will be meeting for the 60th time on Saturday with Rutgers holding a 40-19 edge in the all-time series.
