
Rutgers Field Hockey to Host Two Fall Clinics

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Oct. 11, 2013) - The Rutgers field hockey team is set to host two fall clinics this month, with the first on Sunday, Oct. 13 and the second on Sunday, Oct. 27. Both clinics will run from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Both will be held on the Rutgers Bauer Track and Field Hockey Complex.
The two-hour clinics are open to field players, goalkeepers and coaches who want to improve their game. Boys and girls of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The clinics will emphasize skill development as well as team tactical concepts. Goaltenders will receive individual training. The Rutgers coaching staff will direct and coach the clinics, with assistance from current Rutgers players.
Cost for the clinic is $50 for field players and goalkeepers and $30 for coaches. Payment will be made the day of the clinic in cash or check.
You can reserve your spot today by email RutgersFieldHockey@gmail.com with your name, high school graduation year, the school you attend and your playing level (varsity, junior varsity, intermediate or beginner), your club team (if applicable) and the clinic dates you will be attending. All players must present a signed medical form and payment at check-in. Mouth guards and shin guards are required. Goalkeepers should bring their own equipment.
