
Patrone Selected to Front Rush/NFHCA Senior Game

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Nov. 1, 2013) - Rutgers field hockey senior Lisa Patrone (Washington Township, N.J.) has been selected to the 2013 Front Rush/NFHCA Division I Senior Game, it was announced.
The game will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, Va., at 2:15 p.m. Patrone was one of 38 players chosen to participate.
"Lisa's selection to the Front Rush/NFHCA Senior Game is well deserved," said head coach Meredith Long. "She has played an integral part in the recent success of the Rutgers field hockey program. The team and coaching staff are very proud of Lisa and look forward to cheering her on in the game."
This season, the senior has played a key role in generating offense for the Scarlet Knights with, posting five assists, which is tied for the team lead. The 2012 All-BIG EAST Second Team selection also notched a goal in a 5-0 win against Georgetown on Oct. 12 and dished out a season-high two assists in the squad's 4-0 win vs. La Salle on Sept. 6.
The Scarlet Knights conclude their season by hosting Old Dominion on Friday, Nov. 1, before traveling to Bucknell on Nov. 3 at 2 p.m.
