Katrina Martinelli Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Providence, R.I. (April 15, 2013) - Rutgers women's lacrosse midfielder Katrina Martinelli (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.
Martinelli recorded three points, including two goals, in a 9-6 win over Villanova on April 13. The junior earned her 10th multi-goal game of the season as the Knights earned their first BIG EAST win of the season.
This marks the second weekly honor for Martinelli. The Moorestown, N.J., product paces the Scarlet Knights with 38 points this season (29 goals and nine assists) after coming into the year with 11 career points.
Martinelli and the rest of the Scarlet Knights take on BIG EAST foe Georgetown on Friday, April 19 at the RU Turf Field. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
