Field Hockey Welcomes Three for 2015

Two of Rutgers' signees just faced each other this past Saturday in the New Jersey Group 3 State Championship Game. Profita assisted on the game-winning goal in overtime to lead Warren Hills Regional to the title over Hanna and Ocean City High School.
Kelly Hanna, Midfield/Forward
Prior to Rutgers: Scored 61 goals and added 59 assists during high school career … high school program record holder for season and career assists … team captain in 2014 … started on 2012 and 2013 state championship winning teams … scored game-winning goal in 2013 state championship semifinals and title game, both 1-0 wins … Atlantic City Press Field Hockey Player of the Year in 2013 earned distinguished honors for academics all 16 marking periods in high school career … … went to same high school as current midfielder Ali Stever and head Coach Meredith Long … sister, Casey, plays field hockey at Monmouth University … parents are Jen and Tim … born Jan. 25, 1997.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers field hockey added three players to the roster for next season, signing three to National Letters of Intent. Kelly Hanna (Seaville, N.J.), Nikki Profita (Washington, N.J.), and Caitlin Nitschmann (Bordentown, N.J.) will join the Rutgers squad for the 2015 season.
