Six Land on All-Big Ten Academic Team

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Six members of the Rutgers men's soccer team were named All-Big Ten Academic honorees it was announced on Wednesday by the conference office.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Academic All-Big Ten:
Nate Bruccoleri - Senior - Bordentown, N.J. - Labor Studies and Employment Relations
JP Correa - Redshirt Junior - Montville, N.J. - Communication
Kieran Kemmerer - Redshirt Sophomore - Belle Mead, N.J. - Mechanical Engineering
Drew Morgan - Junior - Atlanta, Ga. - Accounting
Thomas O'Rourke - Senior - Lawrenceville, N.J. - Political Science & Economics
Mitchell Walier - Sophomore - Holmdel, N.J. - Undeclared
The six members of the All-Big Ten Academic team were among the 977 fall sport student-athletes honored and 88 men's soccer student-athletes recognized.
Last month, the Rutgers men's soccer team was honored with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) College Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year. The Scarlet Knights, who were recognized with the Team Academic Award for the third time in four seasons, were one of a total of 861 collegiate soccer teams (279 men, 582 women) who posted a 3.0 or higher grade point average during the 2013-14 academic year.
