
Trasolini Named Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 12, 2015) - Rutgers sophomore Christian Trasolini was named Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week, it was announced Thursday. The sophomore was chosen by fan voting on InsideLacrosse.com.
Trasolini spurred Rutgers to a 10-8 victory at St. John's in the season opener with five points, scoring four goals and adding one assist. It was Trasolini's fifth five-plus point game of his career and his eighth multi-goal game of his career.
The New Hyde Park, N.Y., native entered the 2015 season as the Scarlet Knights' leading returning goal scorer after finding the back of the net 27 times in his 2014 freshman campaign.
Rutgers will be on the road this weekend, travelling for a matchup at Richmond on Saturday. The Scarlet Knights' have nine home games this season, starting with the home opener against Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 21. Season tickets are available here.
