Men's Lacrosse Promotional Schedule Released

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Feb. 5, 2016) - The 2016 promotional calendar for the Rutgers men's lacrosse team has been released. The Scarlet Knights have seven home games this season and are entering their second season in the Big Ten. This will be the third season playing home games at High Point Solutions Stadium.
Rutgers will host three conference foes this season: Johns Hopkins, Michigan and Penn State. There will be a "Red Out" in the game against Johns Hopkins and the first 500 fans that arrive will receive free T-shirts. The contest against Michigan is "Jersey Day" where a $5 ticket will be given to all fans in attendance wearing any lacrosse jersey and any kid wearing a jersey will receive free admission. Each fan will also receive a raffle ticket with a chance to win a signed jersey from the team. The regular season home finale against Penn State will be the "White Out" game on Senior Day. Rutgers will hold its annual alumni appreciation and also recognize its 1986 and 1991 NCAA teams.
Additionally, four nonconference games are scheduled, highlighted by visits from Fairfield, St. John's and Delaware. The Fairfield game is a winter hat giveaway for the first 250 fans. The first 500 fans at the St. John's game will receive a free poster and the first 100 will also receive free hot chocolate. The game against Delaware is $1 hot dog night and the first 250 fans will receive a free Rutgers lacrosse ball.
