PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Scarlet Knights have two permanent captains for this season, a pair of reigning all-Big Ten selections in seniors Scott Bieda and Zack Sikora. The team additionally names gameday captains, recognizing the strong play and leadership of other players. Those players will join in as captains for the upcoming game.
For the next game Saturday afternoon at No. 4 Maryland, Rutgers gameday captains will be Jules Heningburg, Kris Alleyne and Steve Hillenbrand.
Heningburg is the reigning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after his outstanding performance against Michigan. The Maplewood, N.J. native scored five goals in the win over the Wolverines, bumping his season total to 27 goals and 41 points. This is the fourth time this season that the sophomore has been a gameday captain.

Last week, Alleyne stopped 13 shots in the win over Michigan. On the season, he has a 6-2 record, 8.17 goals-against average (second best in the Big Ten), and .571 save percentage.
