BTN Announces Softball Wildcards

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 25, 2016) - The Big Ten Network announced its 2016 softball wildcard selections, picking up Rutgers at No. 2 Michigan on Saturday, May 7th to be televised nationally. The first pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET.
The Scarlet Knights travel to Ann Arbor for a three-game series from May 6-8, closing out their regular season slate. The Wolverines were runner-up in the 2015 NCAA Women's College World Series and are the reigning Big Ten 2015 regular season and tournament champions.
It marks the third appearance on BTN for RU this season. The Scarlet Knights made their season debut on the network with a series-winning victory at Illinois. Most recently, RU picked up a pair of wins in a doubleheader on Wednesday at Maryland on national television.
