SK.com: Why did you choose Rutgers?
Tierney Wiltshire: As soon as I met with the coaches and explored the campus, I knew that this was my second home. I never second guessed my decision to come here because I knew that God gave me this opportunity for a reason. I couldn't skip out on a chance like this to become something great as an individual and with a group of people. It's a welcoming home that allows the best to excel in their craft. I fell in love with the people and of course the campus. The overall emotion of excitement that filled my body when I knew this would be my home for the next four years is unexplainable.
Scarletknights.com: When did you first start playing soccer?
TW: I've played soccer since I was four years old.

SK.com: What is your best soccer memory?

SK.com: Do you have a favorite soccer player?
TW: I like Megan Rapinoe. Just her style of play and how consistent she is on and off the ball and stuff like that.
SK.com: What did you know about Rutgers prior to committing?

TW: I'm happy to be a part of the program and I'm really excited to see how much this team will grow and become successful.

TW: My favorite food is pizza - pepperoni. I love listenting to Future and my favorite TV show is Friends.
SK.com: What are your hobbies outside of playing soccer?

SK.com: If you could excel at any other sport, what would it be?
TW: Probably track and field; the 400 because I always ran the 400.
