PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers women's lacrosse (7-6, 1-2 Big Ten) hits the road for the first time in four games when it competes against Michigan (5-10, 1-3 Big Ten) Thursday night in Ann Arbor. Opening draw is slated for 7 p.m. ET with the game broadcast on BTN.

Scouting Michigan
The Wolverines enter Thursday night's matchup after it fell to Johns Hopkins, 15-8, last Saturday in Baltimore. Prior to the loss, UM defeated Niagara, 20-10, on April 4.
Jess Angerman leads Michigan with 38 points (25g, 13a), while Kim Coughlan has the most goals for the program with 26 in 2017.
Emily Braun anchors the Wolverine defense with 22 caused turnovers. Braun also leads UM with 30 ground balls in 15 games.
Alli Kothari and Mira Shane have split time in between the pipes this season for Michigan. In eight starts, Kothari has produced 74 saves. Shane has 61 stops in seven starts.
Michigan is currently competing in just its fourth season since the program was formed in 2014.
The Series
Rutgers is 2-0 all-time against Michigan. Last season, the Scarlet Knights defeated the Wolverines, 16-6, at High Point Solutions Stadium. RU won, 14-3, when the programs first met in 2015 at Michigan.
Dunphey's on Fire
Kristina Dunphey has provided Rutgers with an offensive spark recently, collecting 17 goals in her last seven games. Her scoring streak includes back-to-back hat tricks against Niagara and Ohio State, along with her five-goal outing on March 15 against Manhattan. Dunphey now has 115 points during her RU career, good for 17th all-time "On the Banks".
Balanced Attack
Nine players have scored more than 10 points and 10 goals this season for Rutgers. Dunphey leads the way offensively with 24 goals, while Nicole Kopyta is second with 21 scores. Amanda Turturro owns the most points for RU with 34 (17g, 17a).
Next Time Out
Rutgers returns home when it hosts Northwestern on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. The game is part of Rutgers Athletics' "Spring Fever" event, which includes the annual Scarlet-White game along with a free concert by Grammy-nominated country music artists Big & Rich.
