
Hollingsworth Named Top-100 Freshman by Inside Lacrosse

Rookie attack makes collegiate debut for Scarlet Knights in 2018
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse rookie Hannah Hollingsworth was named a top-100 freshmen for the 2018 season by Inside Lacrosse.
A four-year varsity lacrosse letterwinner and US Lacrosse All-American at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, Hollingsworth helped the Panthers to a NJSIAA state championship as a senior in 2017 and three Somerset County championships from 2015-2017. The attack had 421 career points at Bridgewater-Raritan and was named first team all-state and all-group as a senior.
Hollingsworth also placed on the 2014-2017 All-Skyland Conference First Teams and 2015-2017 All-Courier Teams.
Hollingsworth is one of seven freshmen this season for head coach Laura Brand Sias, joining rookies Kameron Halsall, Jacquelyn Jester, Julia Lytle, Taralyn Naslonski, Dana Pena and Catherine Perkins. Hollingsworth and Lytle were teammates at Bridgewater-Raritan prior to their arrivals "On the Banks".
The Scarlet Knights finished 8-8 during the 2017 season, which included a 2-4 mark in Big Ten Conference play. RU recorded a ranked win over then-No. 18 James Madison and also collected wins against Ohio State and Michigan during the spring.
