Know Your Knights: Men’s Basketball Player Geo Baker

PISCATAWAY – Guard Geo Baker is one of six newcomers, and one of three scholarship freshmen along with big men Mamadou Doucoure and Myles Johnson, on the roster this season. He is a graduate of Proctor Academy in Andover, N.H., where he was a First Team NEPSAC Class AA All-New England selection. Baker competed on the AAU circuit for the DC Blue Devils New Hampshire, where he was coached by T.J. Thompson, who played at George Washington under Karl Hobbs and Steve Pikiell.
An accomplished student with a high basketball IQ and impressive work-ethic, the 6-4, 180-pound Baker started playing basketball with his next door neighbor at the age of seven. His mother, Irene Baker, captained the basketball team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
