Linde van Schaik selected for NFHCA Division I Senior Game

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers field hockey senior Linde van Schaik was selected for the 2018 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game, it was announced Wednesday afternoon. The annual game features top senior players in the nation, with 38 selected to participate this season. The Senior Game is currently set for 6:00 p.m. EST on Friday, November 16, 2018 following the conclusion of the NCAA semifinal games at the University of Louisville's Trager Stadium.
van Schaik has started all 69 games in her Scarlet Knights career, transitioning from midfield to back this season. The native of Amsterdam has compiled 24 goals, 17 assists and 65 points in her career. She ranks seventh all-time at Rutgers history in goals and points.
This season, van Schaik has reached seven goals for the third straight season, while also setting a career high with 20 points. She is a two-time All-Big Ten and three-time All-Region selection. A two-time team captain, she has been named to First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region the last two years.

The Scarlet Knights conclude the regular season with two home games this weekend. Rutgers hosts No. 7 Iowa at 3 p.m. on Friday, then welcome American at 2 p.m. on Sunday for Senior Day. The following weekend begins the Big Ten Tournament, with seeding determined following this weekend's games.
