Hall Picks Up First Team All-Big Ten Honors; DeVizio Lands on All-Freshman Team
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Junior forward Jordan Hall was named First Team All-Big Ten, while defender Thomas DeVizio was a Big Ten All-Freshman selection, it was announced on Friday by the league office on the eve of Big Ten Tournament play.

Hall enters postseason play not only leading the Big Ten in scoring, but also ranks fifth nationally in total goals and 10th nationally in total points. The Manchester, England native has put away 13 of RU's 22 goals in 2018 and racked up 28 points on the year.
Additionally, Hall is one of 21 Division student-athletes who is perfect from the penalty spot with three or more converted PKs on the season.
Aside from toping the Big Ten stat sheet in goals (13), goals per game (0.76), points (28) and points per game (1.65), he is second in the league in shots (59) and shots per game (3.47)
Among his 13 tallies this season were game-winners in two Big Ten contests with Ohio State in overtime and Northwestern. He also had two-goal outings in contests with Ohio State, Wisconsin and Lafayette.

DeVizio earns all-freshman honors after starting all 15 of his appearances as a rookie on the back line for the Scarlet Knights. The Scotch Plains, New Jersey product logged his first collegiate points on an assist on Hall's game winner at Ohio State in overtime in late September.

Senior midfielder Thomas Dovell was named Rutgers' Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner. The Big Ten Sportsmanship Award is presented to an individual who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These students must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
Hailing from Moorestown, New Jersey, Dovell serves as one of this season's trip captains and has totaled three goals and three assists in his 56 career appearances for the Scarlet Knights. Majoring exercise science and sports study, he is also a member of the Big Ten All-Academic Team.
The Rutgers men's soccer team begins Big Ten Tournament action on Sunday in the quarterfinals. The No. 7 Scarlet Knights meet No. 2 Wisconsin at the McClimon Soccer Complex in Madison, Wisconsin at 1 p.m. The game will be streamed on BTN Plus.
