Thirty-six players from across the conference were named to All-Big Ten Teams, which are voted on by the league's coaches. Wells also earns her first career Big Ten award with the All-Defensive Team accolade, which is awarded to one student-athlete at each position.
Hughes was named the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner from Rutgers.

Wells not only produced a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at third base in 20 Big Ten contests, she was perfect at third base all year long. The Piscataway, N.J. native did not make a single error in 107 total chances at the hot corner, with 44 putouts and 63 assists. She helped turn five double plays this season as her squad set a program record and ranked second in the NCAA with 35 double plays turned.
