CHANTELLE SWABY | JAMAICAN WOMEN"S NATIONAL TEAM

Swaby joins the historic Jamaica roster after the country earned its first-ever bid to the FIFA Women's World Cup, becoming the first Caribbean nation to qualify. The Reggae Girlz progressed through the Caribbean zone of the qualifying to reach the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Championship. At the Championship, the squad secured a third-place finish and a spot at France 2019 with a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Panama.

Swaby joins her sister Allyson Swaby on the 23-player roster, both having helped the nation earn its bid in October.

As a Scarlet Knight this fall, Swaby earned Third Team All-Big Ten honors after fueling a back line that led the conference in GAA. Swaby and the defense guided the program to its highest-ever finish in the Big Ten as runner-up to the regular season title.

KNIGHTS AT THE WORLD CUP
Former Scarlet Knight and Rutgers Athletics Hall of Famer Carli Lloyd joins the U.S. Women's National Team for her fourth World Cup. Lloyd helped Team USA to its third World Cup title in 2015, where the midfielder recorded a hat-trick in the 5-2 win over Japan in the final. She earned the Golden Ball and Silver Boot after her historic performance.

Former Scarlet Knight defender Shannon Woeller was named the Canadian Women's National Team. Canada earned its bid before falling in the CONCACAF finals to host and world champion USA.
