Tennis to Host Doubleheader on Friday

Scarlet Knights welcome NJIT and Binghamton
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis is slated to host a doubleheader against NJIT and Binghamton on Friday, Feb. 7 at the East Brunswick Racquet Club. Match times are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. respectively.

- The Scarlet Knights enter the day boasting a 3-1 record.
- During their most recent outing, Rutgers' split a pair of matches on the road sweeping the University of Rhode Island, 7-0, and dropping a close, 4-3 match against Brown.
- Senior Jaci Cochrane remains undefeated in singles play with a 4-0 record to start the year.

- NJIT possesses a 2-1 record with their most recent match against UPenn resulting in their first loss of the season.
- The Highlanders have proven to be dominant in doubles play, clinching the doubles point in all three matches.

- Binghamton's first victory of the year came courtesy of Sacred Heart by a score of 4-3. The Bearcats clinched the doubles point, as well as three singles matches.
