PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Playing in its first game in two weeks, No. 23 Rutgers women's lacrosse (3-5) faces No. 9 Maryland (5-3) on Thursday night in College Park. The game is slated for a 5 p.m. ET start on BTN, the program's first national broadcast of the 2021 season.
• RU dropped a pair of games against No. 3 Northwestern on March 19 and March 21 in Piscataway.
• The Scarlet Knights are ranked No. 23 in this weeks IWLCA Coaches Poll, marking the seventh consecutive week for RU in the rankings. Rutgers has been ranked as high as No. 14 in the country this season, as second-year head coach Melissa Lehman has the program ranked for the first time since 2013.

• Spilis has established herself as one of the top offensive players in the conference, as she ranks fourth in goals per game (2.88) and fifth in goals (23). On the defensive side, Ball is third in the Big Ten with 1.75 caused turnovers per game.
• Senior captain Taralyn Naslonski netted her 100th career goal in RU's last outing against No. 3 Northwestern and owns 144 career points. She needs one more point to break into the program's top-10 list.
• Maryland enters Thursday's game with a 5-3 record after it dropped back-to-back games to No. 3 Northwestern last weekend. Prior to its series loss to the Wildcats, the Terrapins had won five consecutive games.
