PISCATAWAY, N.J. – General admission tickets for the first and second rounds of the 2021 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament are now on sale. Rutgers opens the tournament against Drexel on Friday, May 14 at 4 p.m. ET at LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, New York, with the winner set to play on Sunday, May 16 at noon.
 
Adult tickets for Friday's game – which includes admission to both first-round matchups at Stony Brook – cost $25, while youth tickets cost $7. Adult tickets for Sunday's second round are $15, while youth tickets are $7.
 
In order to gain entrance, you must have signed up through the link provided by Stony Brook Athletics. You must have completed a full vaccine cycle or have tested negative for Covid19 within the past 72 hours (you may produce a negative rapid or PCR test). You must show proof of one of these at the gate prior to entering.
 
Should you have contracted covid19 within the last 90 days, you must send a copy of your positive test request to benjamin.ilg@stonybrook.edu no less than 24 hours prior to the game.
 
For the first time since 1999 and just the second time in program history, Rutgers will compete in the NCAA Tournament after it received an at-large selection. Ranked No. 16 in the final IWLCA Coaches Poll, the Scarlet Knights finished with six victories over Big Ten Conference foes and five over ranked opponents – both program records.
 
Under second-year head coach Melissa Lehman, RU's resume included the program's first-ever wins over Johns Hopkins, Maryland and Penn State as well as three victories over Ohio State. Rutgers' third win over the Buckeyes came in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament last month, as the Scarlet Knights advanced to the conference semifinals for just the second time since beginning league play in 2015.
