Wrestlers Head to UWW U23 Nationals

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Several individuals from Rutgers wrestling will compete at the UWW U23 Nationals, held this weekend at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sammy Alvarez, Andrew Clark, Niccolo Colucci, Robert Kanniard, Boone McDermott, John Poznanski, Dylan Shawver and Michael VanBrill will all wrestle freestyle, with the opening round beginning on Friday, May 28 and the tournament running through Saturday, May 29.

The champion in men's freestyle for the UWW U23 Nationals will represent Team USA at the UWW U23 World Championships from November 1-7 in Belgrade, Serbia. FloWrestling will stream the entirety of this weekend's freestyle tournament with a full schedule found below.
