Men's Lacrosse Has 25 Student-Athletes earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's lacrosse had 25 academic All-Big Ten selections, it was announced by the Big Ten Conference on Thursday.
Adam Charalambides earned the accolade for the sixth time in his career, while Kieran Mullins earned the honor for a fourth time.
Five student-athletes were recognized for the third time in their career: Zackary Franckowiak, Ryan Gallagher, Jaryd Jean-Felix, Jordan Pakzad, Michael Sanguinetti.
Eric Civetti, Tommy Coyne, Cole Daninger, Brennan Kamish, Zach Masessa, Ben Pounds, Ethan Rall, Bobby Russo and David Sprock were all named Academic All-Big Ten for a second time. Overall, 16 of the 25 honorees for RU have earned the honor multiple times over their collegiate career.
This was the second straight year RU had at least 25 student-athletes named Academic All-Big Ten, following a program record 26 selections last season. 93 percent of eligible student-athletes received the accolade. In the seven years as a Big Ten member, Rutgers has earned 140 Academic All-Big Ten selections, setting records in four of the past five years. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must have been enrolled fulltime at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
