Murtagh Takes Sixth & Weber Finishes 45th At CSCAA Collegiate Open Water National Championship

Miami, Fla. – Madison Murtagh placed sixth and Yael Weber finished 45th as the two graduate students represented Rutgers at the sixth CSCAA Collegiate Open Water National Championship on Sunday in Biscayne Bay. The two Scarlet Knights were among the 110 women student-athletes to compete in the 5K race.
Murtagh finished the course in 58.27.51 and was 2.52 seconds off placing in the top five and earning an invite to the USA Swimming 5K Open Water Championship.
Weber completed the race in 1:01.59.08.
