Men’s Lacrosse Hosts Brown on Sunday
Oct 24 | Men's Lacrosse
11 a.m. game on the F3 Turf Field
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's lacrosse will host a scrimmage this Sunday, welcoming in Brown for a fall exhibition matchup. The game will take place at 11 a.m. on the F3 Turf Field.
The Scarlet Knights will conclude its fall slate by hosting the Ivy League squad, who RU last met during in-season game action with a home-and-home series in 2017 and 2018, with the Scarlet Knights winning both games. Parking and admission will be free.
Rutgers has been active this fall, traveling around the tri-state area for a series of Scarlet-White games. Rutgers played in the Albany area, followed by matchups at Rumson-Fair Haven High School and then at Farmingdale State College on Long Island. These traveling scrimmages gave the program the opportunity to network with alumni in the local areas, as well as host clinics for the local youth players. RU also hosted their annual fall alumni game on Homecoming weekend around the annual team banquet.
The Scarlet Knights approach the 2024 spring campaign looking to continue a successful streak for the program. Over the past three full seasons since returning from the shortened 2020 campaign, RU is 32-14. In that time, the Scarlet Knights claimed 13 ranked wins. RU has 36 ranked wins since 2003, and 26 of them have come since 2012 under head coach Brian Brecht.
The schedule and ticket information for the 2024 season will be made available to the public in the coming months.
