PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Showcasing speed, strength and skills in front of 40 NFL personnel from 30 teams, 14 Scarlet Knights took part in 2024 Pro Day on Thursday. The group started off in the weight room before moving to the Bubble to compete in a variety of drills, including the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, positional work and more.
Rutgers football has a strong tradition of sending players to the next level, with head coach Greg Schiano previously sending 97 to the NFL during his tenure. That included seven signees in 2023, with Christian Braswell (Jacksonville Jaguars) being drafted. Super Bowl LVIII saw three Scarlet Knights take the field, as Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs) became the first starting running back to win consecutive Super Bowls during his first two years in the league.
