PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's swimming & diving team returns to the water on Friday to host Fordham at 4 p.m. at the Rutgers Aquatics Center at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center. Admission is free. Live results will be available on Meet Mobile and DiveMeets.com.

| LAST TIME IN THE WATER - SWIMMING |
- On day two of the Minnesota Invite, graduate students Molly Urkiel and Shannon Meadway went into the record books in the 200 IM, both qualifying for the A final with the second- and third-fastest times at Rutgers in the 200 IM. Both bettered their times in the final falling just short of breaking the RU record set in 2014.
- Day three continued with Urkiel appearing in two A finals with a pair of NCAA B cuts, setting a new Rutgers record in the 400 IM. Additionally, she posted Rutgers' fifth-fastest 100 breast time and Meadway recording the fifth-fastest time at RU in A finals appearance in the 400 IM. Also swimming to program top-10 times at the Minnesota Invite on day three were sophomore Sofia Bartoloni in the 100 breast and juniors Cameron Kuriger and Ellie Schinsky in the 100 fly.
- On the final day, Urkiel was back in the water to break the 200 breast record with an NCAA B cut time. Rutgers also saw A finalists in Meadway in the 200 back and sophomore Blanka Berecz in the 200 fly and top 10 times from juniors Schinsky and Kuriger in the 200 fly and Bartoloni in the 200 breast.

- At the Rutgers Diving Invitational, sophomore Amelia Scott was crowned the 1M champion, senior Holly Prasanto walked away with the 3M title and junior Sephora Ford claimed the platform title.
- In addition to Scott's title on 1M, Prasanto produced the Scarlet Knights' sixth-highest score in school history during prelims and was the runner-up. Freshman Madilyn Varnum took third for RU to secure at 1-2-3 finish.
- The 3M ultimately saw the Scarlet Knights sweep the top six spots. In addition to Prasanto's victory, freshmen Katerina Hoffman and Bailee Sturgill went 2-3 with top-10 program scores.

| ABOUT FORDHAM |
- On the year the Rams have picked up victories over Manhattan and Boston College with a loss against NYU.
- Fordham was last in the water at the Bucknell Invitational finishing fifth out of seven teams. Highlighting the Rams' results were runner-up finishes by the 200 and 400 medley and 800 free relay teams and Ainhoa Marting in the 200 breast along with third place times by Leire Martin in the 200 back and 200 IM and Martin in the 400 IM.

- Rutgers finished 32nd at the NCAA Championships as Holly Prasanto earned second team all-america honors reaching the consolation final on 1M to place 11th overall. She became the fifth Scarlet Knight diver to earn all-america honors and marked the third-straight season Rutgers has sent a diver to the NCAA Championships.
- At the Big Ten Championships, eight NCAA B cuts were registered, 18 top 24 finishes were recorded, 13 program top 10 times were captured and 28 personal bests were set.
- The 400 medley relay squad consisting returning Scarlet Knights Martyna Piesko and Jade Smits had the highest-ever finish for a Scarlet Knight relay squad at the championships with a fifth-place finish and new school record.

- The Scarlet Knights earned the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) team award with a 3.59 spring GPA , marking the 21st consecutive semester. RU has been honored with one of the nation's top grade-point averages. RU's GPA was also the fourth highest among Big Ten women's swimming and diving programs, ahead of Ohio State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, and Purdue.
- Eight Scarlet Knights were honored as CSCAA Second Team Scholar Americans for achieving a 3.5 grade point average or higher while collecting NCAA B cuts or advancing to NCAA Zone diving competition including returnees Sephora Ford, Shannon Meadway, Martyna Piesko, Elysha Pribadi, Amelia Scott and Molly Urkiel.
- Last season, Rutgers women's swimming and diving posted 14 Big Ten All-Academic honorees and five Big Ten Distinguished Scholars.

- The Rutgers swimming & diving will be in B1G action hosting Nebraska and Iowa at the Rutgers Aquatics Center on Fri., Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. and Sat., Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
