No. 14 Wrestling Faces Navy Saturday at Journeymen WrangleMania

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 14 Rutgers wrestling (3-0) faces Navy (0-1) this Saturday in a neutral-site match in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The dual is part of Journeymen's WrangleMania event at Liberty High School. Action starts at 3:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on FloWrestling.
Several Scarlet Knights are also set to compete in the 2025 Journeymen Collegiate Classic on Sunday at Freedom High School in Bethlehem. Those matches will stream on FloWrestling beginning at 9 a.m.

- Rutgers swept its matches with Bloomsburg (38-2), Centenary (44-0) and Gardner-Webb (37-5) during its opening-season quad meet on Sunday at Jersey Mike's Arena.
- The Scarlet Knights won 28 out of 30 matches across their three duals, which included seven tech falls, five pins and five major decisions.
- No. 13 Joseph Olivieri (141) muscled back-to-back pins, while No. 15 Hunter Catka (HWT) contributed multiple tech falls. Max Hermes (157), Nate Blanchette (174) and Damian Weaver (184) all added falls.
- Dylan Shawver (133) and Lenny Pinto (174) both competed in the NWCA All-Star Classic last Saturday at Jersey Mike's Arena. After opening with back-to-back takedowns, Pinto lost to No. 3 Simon Ruiz (Cornell) by 9-6 decision. Shawver lost 7-1 to reigning NCAA Champion Lucas Byrd (Illinois).
