INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – No. 7 Rutgers rowing won six out of their seven heats on Saturday and will send all seven boats to the grand finals on Sunday at the Big Ten Championships at Eagle Creek Park.

The Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, Varsity 4, 2nd Varsity 4, 3rd Varsity 4, and 3rd Varsity 8 all won their Saturday heats to book trips to the grand finals on Sunday. The 4th Varsity 8 finished second behind No. 2 Washington in their heat and qualified for the grand finals, which take the top three boats in each heat.

The V8, 2V8, V4, 2V4, and 3V4 all defeated runner-up No. 10 Michigan in their heats, while the 3V8 won the heat ahead of No. 17 Ohio State with 7.8 seconds of open water.

All seven boats will be taking on boats from No. 2 Washington in Sunday's grand finals to compete for the program's first Big Ten Championships title. The finals begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday and will air live on Big Ten Network.
