Joe Juengerkes Named All-ECAC

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's lacrosse short-stick defensive midfielder Joe Juengerkes was named to the All-ECAC Team, the organization announced. Juengerkes was one of 14 players to earn selection, and one of just two players at his position honored. Juengerkes joins a group of 14 total Scarlet Knights to earn All-ECAC recognition over the past five seasons.
Juengerkes' continues a series of postseason recognition for a strong final season 'On the Banks', as he previously has been named an All-American by two different publications, as high as the Second Team. He also was a First Team All-Big Ten selection. The Islip, N.Y. native and two-time team captain led the team with 44 ground balls and had 13 caused turnovers, in addition to five goals and two assists. Currently playing with the PLL's Maryland Whipsnakes, he had 99 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers, plus 12 goals and six assists, across two seasons and 31 games as a Scarlet Knight.
