KNOW YOUR KNIGHTS
Major: Labor and Employment Relations
I chose my major because: I believe every person should know their rights as an employee. Almost everyone works so this is important for every worker to know. I want to help people have the best experience at their jobs.
Favorite place to hang out on campus: Henry's Diner
If I wasn’t swimming, I’d be: competing in crossfit or surfing.
One word to describe myself on the field/court: committed
One word to describe myself off the field/court: determined
Few people know that I: can draw really well.
Person who had greatest influence on my athletics career: Jack Caucino (high school club coach)
I started playing my sport because…: the coach of my beach club summer swim team finally convinced me to try out for a year-round club team when I was 11. I started to get faster than all of the swimmers who were already on club teams so I decided to give it a shot.
I chose Rutgers because…: I transferred to Rutgers because I wanted to change my life. I wanted to be happy again. Rutgers is giving me the opportunity to finish my degree and swimming career to my best ability while being genuine to who I am.
Favorite cereal: froot loops
Favorite musician/group: Lorde or Rebelution
Rituals I have before, during or after a game are: I can't listen to music after the meet has started. When I'm behind the blocks I always do the same stretches and I always slap my right thigh when I'm halfway on the block waiting for the starter to call us up to take our mark.
My favorite Halloween costume growing up was: Buzz Lightyear
The place in the world I would most like to visit is: New Zealand
My favorite teacher was/is:(name, grade, subject) Professor Uzwiak. Anatomy & Physiology, Essentials of Human Reproduction. Professor here at Rutgers. He solidified that I loved learning about the human body and that I want to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
One thing on my bucket list is: skydiving.
Phone app you cannot live without: Snapchat
