  • Placed third in back-to-back days at Illinois and Northwestern in 200 Free (10/27-28)
  • Opened the season with wins in the 200, 500 and 1650 free at Florida Gulf Coast (10/6-7)

2016-17 (Freshman)
  • Contributed to a program record of 3:19.98 in the 400 freestyle relay, added a PR of 51.15 in the 100 freestyle and also competed in the 200 and 500 freestyle events at the 2017 Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships (Feb. 16-18)
  • Finished first in the 200 and 500 freestyles against Richmond (Jan. 28)
  • Contributed to a first-place finish in the 400 medley relay and finished third in the 200 freestyle against Cincinnati and Virginia Tech (Jan. 20-21) 
  • Helped RU place second in the 400 freestyle relay against Penn State and Yale (Jan. 14)
  • Finished first in the 200 freestyle (53.39) at the Bruno Invitational (Dec. 2-4)
  • Helped Rutgers set a RU Aquatics pool record with a time of 3:40.77 in the 400 medley relay and placed third in the 500 freestyle relay during the Frank Elm Invitational (Nov. 18-20)
  • Finished first in the 200 freestyle (1:53.08), 500 freestyle (4:58.01) and helped RU to a win in the 400 medley relay (3:45.51) during quad meet with Georgetown, Seton Hall and Villanova (Nov. 4-5)
  • Contributed to RU’s victory in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:47.03 and finished second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:51.30 against Illinois and Northwestern (Oct. 29)
  • Finished fifth in the 500 freestyle against Miami (Fla.), Notre Dame and Purdue (Oct. 28)
  • Placed third in the 200 freestyle, finished fifth in the 500 freestyle and was sixth in the 200 IM during her collegiate debut at the Florida Gulf Coast University Classic in Fort Myers, Florida (Oct. 7-8)

Prior to Rutgers
  • Competed with the Oakville Aquatic Club
  • Qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials and the 2015 Canadian Pan American Trials in the 200, 400 and 800 free
  • Helped Oakville capture the women’s 2015 Senior Nation Team Award, winning the ‘B’ finals in the 200 and 400 free
  • Contributed to Oakville’s seven-straight Provincial Championships from 2008-14
  • Has broken nine SCM and four LCM club records since 2009 … recognized as a top-10 National Age Swimmer in Canada since 2011
  • Competed on the St. Mildred’s Lightbourn High School varsity team from 2010-14

The person I most admire is and why: My younger brother, Nicholas, is someone I admire even though he is younger than I am. My brother is compassionate and kind to everyone. He's a very rational thinker and whenever I need to talk, he's always free to catch up.
If I wasn’t swimming I’d be: backpacking through Europe or Southeast Asia.
Favorite professional athlete: Pascal Siakam

One word to describe myself in the pool: Energetic
One word to describe myself out of the pool: Energetic
Few people know that I: took four language classes in grade 10 (english, french, spanish, mandarin).
Person who had greatest influence on my athletics career: Jackie Kiere - a swim alum from the University of Cincinnati
I started playing my sport because: I tried every kind of activity out there, and the times that I had the most fun were in the water. I love practicing beside my teammates, competing against other swimmers and feeling the energy of the crowd when I’m in the water.
I chose Rutgers because: of the academics, athletics and diversity on campus. Rutgers offers a variety of different majors that opened up the door for me to explore my options post-graduation. The athletic community is a family and is my home away from home. The diverse community also bring different perspectives in the classroom, pool and my daily life where everyone feels welcomed and has a group to be a part of.

The movie I have watched the most in my lifetime is: Frozen (17 times)
The best actor/actress to play me in a movie is: Ali Wong

If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a gold medal at: napping

Rituals I have before, during or after a game are: slap my legs, arms and chest to wake my body up. When I'm on the blocks, I do two fly strokes to set up my start.Favorite all-time gift received: a 4th generation iTouch

What would you like to say to the R Fund donors who have provided for your scholarship and/or facility resources?: R Fund donors have given me the opportunity to pursue my dreams and follow my passions. I am so grateful to be able to train at Rutgers amazing facilities. I truly wouldn't be where I am without R Fund donors.
How has Rutgers and donor support changed your life?: College is a place where you are supposed to find yourself and figure out what you want to do in the future. Rutgers and the support from donors have allowed me to explore my post-graduate options while also compete at the highest collegiate level.
