Fifth-year graduate student and returning team captain…Completed coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations this past summer and is pursuing a master’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations… Competed with Division I players from across the United States on a two-week competitive tour of the Philippines with Athletes in Action this past summer…A tough, physical big man who has increased his productivity due to his commitment both in practice and in the weight room… Dedicated student-athlete who has persevered through injuries...Is a good finisher around the basket.

2012-13: Redshirted…Had arthroscopic knee surgery during the season.

2011-12: Saw action in 18 games, averaging 5.9 minutes and totaling 10 points and 18 rebounds, including eight offensive...Started vs. Villanova (March 6) in the BIG EAST Championship, grabbing two rebounds and dishing out two assists…Scored two points at West Virginia (Jan. 14)...Matched his career high with four points and three rebounds against NJIT (Dec. 22)...Tallied his first basket and dunk against UMBC (Nov. 28), finishing with four points and three rebounds in a season-high 16 minutes...Saw game action against Illinois State (Nov. 23) in Cancun Challenge, playing two minutes...Played seven minutes against Sacred Heart (Nov. 17)...Saw his first career action off the bench against Dartmouth (Nov. 11), blocking one shot.

Scholastic: Rated as the nation’s No. 127 overall prospect by Hoop Scoop and No. 139 overall recruit by Rivals…Cited by Rivals as the No. 16 center recruit in the country, by ESPN.com as the No. 21 center prospect nationally and by Scout as the No. 24 center recruit…A 2011 graduate of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, where he scored 1,097 points and grabbed 803 rebounds as a four-year varsity starter under head coach and former Temple University standout Mark Karcher…Was a First Team All-MIAA and First Team All-Baltimore Catholic League selection as a senior after averaging 17.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game with 12 double-doubles on the season…Averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds in 2009-10 at SFA as team posted a 20-9 record, was ranked No. 3 in the state of Maryland, and earned its third consecutive Catholic League championship…Competed at the 2010 LeBron James All-America Camp and NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp…Competed on the AAU circuit for Nike Baltimore Elite.
