2017 (As a freshman): Started six of 17 matches…scored the game winner in RU’s 1-0 shutout of Michigan in the regular season finale (Oct. 25), helping the Scarlet Knights secure a home match in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals…named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for her performance against Michigan…recorded her first career assist in the 7-0 shutout of Mount St. Mary’s (Aug. 31)…registered RU’s first goal of the season in her first collegiate appearance with a start in the season-opening, 3-0 win over Loyola Marymount (Aug. 18).
Prior to Rutgers: Played at Shattuck-St Mary’s … team won its first Minnesota State Cup in program history in 2016, with Lane playing a major role in the team’s success … scored the game-tying and insurance goal in the State Cup final … sophomore year scored 29 goals and notched 16 assists … bested that mark as a junior with 42 goals and 19 assists.
Personal: Daughter of Winston and Joan … has one sibling, Winston III … honor roll student...intendts to major in chemistry.
