Eleven Named Academic All-Big Ten

ROSEMONT, ILL (Dec. 10, 2014) - Rutgers field hockey had 11 players named Academic All-Big Ten, the conference office announced Wednesday.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. The conference recognized a total of 977 fall sports student-athletes, including 91 field hockey players.
The Big Ten Conference also recognized 26 student-athletes from the conference with unblemished cumulative GPAs. Among that group was Rutgers junior Nicole Imbriaco (Clark, N.J), who is a double major in finance and business analytics and information technologies. Imbriaco was one of just three field hockey players in the conference to post an unblemished GPA.
