Rutgers Field Hockey Recognized for Academic Achievements

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 19, 2014) - The Rutgers field hockey team received the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award, while 15 student-athletes were named to the National Academic Squad, the National Field Hockey Coaches (NFHCA) announced Tuesday.
The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year. The full list of teams can be found here.
The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year. The full list can be viewed here.
