Scarlet Knights Kick Off Final Week Of Regular Season With Lions at 7 p.m.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Scarlet Knights wrap up the regular season this week with two games on the road on this week. First up, a nonconference contest at Columbia on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
DOWN THE STRETCH WE COME
Last week, the Scarlet Knights picked up a 4-1 nonconference victory at Lafayette, with junior Jordan Hall and redshirt senior Miles Hackett both scoring twice in RU's largest output in nearly a year. It was the most goals netted by Rutgers since defeating the Leopards by the same scoring on Oct. 18 of last season.
Rutgers followed with an intense contest with No. 2 and 2017 national runner-up Indiana. While the Hoosiers collected the 1-0 victory, having gone unbeaten in their last 34 Big Ten matchups, the Scarlet Knights denied Indiana the back of the net until the 84th minute of play. The RU defense weathered 26 shots by the Hoosiers with senior netminder Rafael Pereira tying his career-high with nine stops.

KEEPING AN EYE ON THE B1G
The Scarlet Knights currently sit in seventh place in the league standings with six points heading into the final week of the regular season.
RU should have a clearer picture of upcoming Big Ten Tournament seeding following the mid-week conference games. The Scarlet Knights can finish in either sixth, seventh or eighth place.
