BACK TO B1G PLAY
The Rutgers men's soccer team is back to Big Ten action after a 3-2 loss to Drexel on Tuesday night. The Scarlet Knights found themselves with an early lead against the Dragons and fought back to make it a 2-2 game midway through the first half, but an own goal in the second half halted RU's chances of putting together back-to-back wins in the setback.
Rutgers junior forward
Jordan Hall scored his seventh goal of the season three minutes into the contest with a free kick to give the Scarlet Knights the early 1-0 lead.
It was two restart situations, however, that gave the Dragons a 2-1 edge by the game's eighth minute.
The Scarlet Knights bounced back and tied the match up at 2-2 in the 21st minute. RU maintained possession after a corner kick at the far side of the field and redshirt senior
Miles Hackett kept the ball in play along the end line. Hackett delivered the ball back to freshman
Andrew Murray, who buried his first collegiate goal from eight yards out.
Â
Drexel's game-winner came off an own goal. The Dragon's Chris Donovan crossed the ball in front of Rutgers goal where the ball was inadvertently knocked in by the Scarlet Knights trying to get it to keeper
Rafael Pereira.
ABOUT WISCONSIN
The Badgers welcome the Scarlet Knights to Wisconsin sporting a 5-4-2 overall mark and 2-1-0 record in Big Ten action.Â

More recently, the Badgers battled Milwaukee to a double overtime 0-0 draw on Wednesday.
Freshman forward Andrew Akindele leads Wisconsin on the stat sheet with six points (2G, 2A), while redshirt senior forward Isaac Schlenker is the only other Badger with more than a goal on the year with two scores under his belt.
In goal, junior Dean Cowdroy has patrolled the net all season long capturing five shutouts and a 0.93 goals against average. He is holding down a .776 save percentage.

Hall's name is also found second in the league in shots (29), shots per game (2.90), points (15) and points per game (1.50).
