B1G HONORS
Two Scarlet Knights in junior forward Jordan Hall and freshman defender Thomas DeVizio earned All-Big Ten honors on Friday.

Hall leads Rutgers and the Big Ten with 28 points and 13 goals. The Manchester, England native posted two-game winners in Big Ten play this season coming against Ohio State in overtime and versus Northwestern. Additionally, Hall has had three two-goal games in 2018, including against the Badgers in the regular season meeting back on Oct. 7.

Defender Thomas DeVizio landed on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. The rookie Scarlet Knight started in all 15 of his appearance in his first season "On The Banks" on the backline.

Additionally, senior Thomas Dovell, one of this season's tri-captatins, was named the Rutgers recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award. The Big Ten Sportsmanship Award is presented to an individual who has distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These students must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.

ABOUT WISCONSIN
The Badgers enter the postseason as the number two seed with a 9-5-2 overall mark and 6-2-0 record in Big Ten play.

Wisconsin has won three-straight including last Sunday's 1-0 overtime win over Ohio State to clinch its position as runner-up in the Big Ten. The Badgers have gone 7-1-1 in their last nine outings, with the lone blemish in the span being a 1-0 setback to Penn State back on Oct. 14.

Freshman forward Andrew Akindele leads the Badgers with 12 points on four goals and four assists. Freshman forward Noah Melick checks in as Wisconsin's second leading scorer with nine points (4G, 1A), while redshirt senior forward Isaac Schlenker has logged six points from three goals.

In net, junior Dean Cowdroy has racked up seven shutouts and 54 total saves on the year. He is holding down a 0.86 goals against average and .783 save percentage.

LAST TIME AT WISCONSIN
Junior forward Jordan Hall scored twice for the Scarlet Knights in the Rutgers men's soccer team's 4-2 setback at Wisconsin back on Oct. 7  at a rainy McClimon Soccer Complex.

Wisconsin went up 1-0 in the sixth minute with Robin Olofsson tapping in a header from the left post by Mitch Guitar at the goal line and took a two-goal lead when a Noah Melick attempt from 25 yards found the back of the Scarlet Knight net in the 28th minute.

Five minutes after the Badgers went up 2-0, Rutgers halved its deficit on the first of Hall's two tallies. Redshirt senior Miles Hackett controlled a pass at the top of the 18 to feed Hall, who found the opening and fired from 20 yards out with this right foot into the left post.

The Badgers, however, added two more scores early in the second half from Melick in the 50th minute and Andrew Akindele in the 53rd minute.

Hall put away his second goal of the game and ninth of the season in the 84th minute catching the Badger defense off-guard on a strike from 24 yards out.

LAST TIME VS. WISCONSIN - B1G TOURNAMENT
It will be the second meeting between the Scarlet Knights and Badgers in the Big Ten Tournament. The two squads met in the 2014 play-in game with RU prevailing, 5-2.

The win marked the first-ever Big Ten postseason win in Rutgers history.

The eighth-seeded Scarlet Knights advanced to meet top-seeded Maryland in the quarterfinals, where the Terps ended RU's run with a 2-0 victory enroute to the conference title.

BADGER BACK OF THE NET
Wisconsin is only allowing 0.94 goals per game with Rutgers being only one of four Badger opponents on the year to score more than once.

NATIONALLY SPEAKING
Junior Jordan Hall currently ranks fifth nationally in total goals having put away 13 of RU's 22 goals in 2018 and sits in 10th place in total points with 28.

Additionally, the Manchester, England native is one of 21 Division I student-athletes perfect from the penalty spot with three or more converted PKs on the season.

B1G STATS
With a goal against Columbia in the nonconference finale on Oct. 23, junior Jordan Hall has totaled 13 goals on the season to lead all Big Ten scorers.

Hall sits in first place ahead of Indiana's Andrew Gutman with nine goals and Michigan's Umar Farouk Osman and Jack Hallahan both with seven goals.
