PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Sophomore back Chantelle Swaby and Rutgers women's soccer signee Meagan McClelland have been called up to the U.S. Soccer Under-19 and Under-18 Women's National Team camps. The concurrent training camps will be running from Feb. 10-17 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Swaby, a 2017 Big Ten Second Team and United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team selection, joins the U-19 squad. The center back solidified a back line that held RU opponents to a program record 924:07 straight scoreless-minutes to open the season, tying the school record of nine consecutive shutouts along the way.
The West Hartford, Connecticut, native was a force in the top defensive performance in the nation, as Rutgers claimed the NCAA's team titles in GAA (.267) and save percentage (.924), also ranking second in shutout percentage (.762). Overall, the Scarlet Knights remained unbeaten across seven ranked matchups by not allowing a single goal in those contests with a record of 3-0-4.

McClelland, one of the 10 standouts RU signed to its 2018 class this week, is a current member of the U-18 Women's National Team. The goalkeeper also has experience with the U-17 squad, having competed at the U-17 Youth World Cup in 2016. Additionally, McClelland led PDA, one of the top youth clubs in the country, to an ECNL National Championship in 2016.
The Garden State product is a three-time first team all-county honoree and an All-Group IV Third Team selection at Kearny High School, while also earning Freshman MVP and Varsity MVP honors in her career.
