On defense, Madison Richardson has caused 18 turnovers, while Maggie Handlaln scooped up a team-high 24 ground balls.
The Series
Rutgers leads the all-time series with Michigan, 3-0, as both programs entered the Big Ten Conference at the same time in 2015. Last season, Budd, Kopyta and Kristina Dunphey all produced hat-tricks to help Rutgers defeat Michigan, 16-14, last year in Ann Arbor.
Bianca Dente recorded seven saves, including a clutch stop in the final seconds to secure her eighth win of the season. Then-sophomore Abbey Brooks led RU with three ground balls, while Paratore caused three UM turnovers in the win.
Tough 2018 Schedule
Rutgers possesses one of the toughest schedules in the country and has already been put to the test midway through the season.
The Scarlet Knights have already played three of the Top-10 programs in the country in No. 2 Maryland, No. 4 James Madison and No. 9 UPenn, and have also faced No. 17 Penn State.
RU will close out the regular season with back-to-back ranked foes in No. 7 Northwestern (April 21) and No. 22 Johns Hopkins (April 28).
